Academics and Museum Professionals
ANZMapS runs a year-round program for anyone with an interest in maps—from academics and museum professionals to collectors and curious enthusiasts.
The highlight of our calendar is the annual ANZMapS Conference, held in a different city each year. These events offer a rich mix of talks, tours, and informal discussions, featuring new research—and often drawing on rare or historically significant maps from public and private collections.
We also support map-related exhibitions, seminars, and workshops organised by our members and partner organisations, including the Sydney Map Group. If you’re planning a map-focused event or would like to collaborate, we’d love to hear from you.
